BTS, also known as Bangtan Boys, is a seven-member South Korean boy band formed by Big Hit Entertainment. The group's name is inspired by the Korean army's anti-aircraft gun, Bangtan Sonyeondan. BTS debuted in 2013 with the single "No More Dream" from their album 2 Cool 4 Skool. Since then, they have released six more studio albums: Wings (2016), You Never Walk Alone (2017), Love Yourself: Her (2017), Love Yourself: Tear (2018), Love Yourself: Answer (2018), and Map of the Soul: Persona (2019). All of BTS' albums have peaked within the top two of the US Billboard 200 chart, making them the only Korean group to do so. In 2018, BTS became the first Korean group to top the Billboard Hot 100 with their single "Fake Love." They are also the first and only Korean group to receive certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for their album Love Yourself: Tear.
