Design Guillotine Hooded
The guillotine is a device that was used for executions by decapitation. It was first used in France during the revolution, and it quickly became a symbol of the terror of that period. The victim's head was placed in a reserve at the bottom of the guillotine, and a heavy blade fell, separating the head from the body. The guillotine was considered a more humane form of execution than methods such as hanging or quartering, and it remained in use in France until the early 20th century. In recent years, it has been replaced by more modern methods such as lethal injection. However, the guillotine remains a symbol of violence and revolutions, and it continues to fascinate people until today.
