Design Runes on Birch Bark Adhesive
This design features twenty-five letters that make up a very old Scandinavian alphabet. These letters of primitive aspect resemble the signs traced by prehistoric men: a trident, a flash, an arrow. The letters, or runes, were painted on the birch bark.
