Rammstein is a German rock band from Berlin, formed in 1994. The band members are Till Lindemann, Richard Z. Kruspe-Bernstein, Paul H. Landers, Oliver Riedel, Christoph Schneider and Christian "Flake" Lorenz. The name Rammstein comes from the German word for a flying ram. The group is known for their stage shows, which feature pyrotechnics, fire and blood. Their music has been used in films such as xXx and Blade II. Rammstein has sold over 35 million albums worldwide. In 2012, they were ranked #4 on MTV's list of the ten greatest metal bands of all time. Rammstein has been nominated for four Grammy Awards, winning one in 2015 for their song "Mein Teil"
