In 2010, Matt Groening released a series of cartoons of The Simpsons remixed with classic scenes from the Beatles film "Abbey Road" The image of Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie crossing a crosswalk became an instant hit , spawning countless parodies and homages.
